Use IP addresses for your own purposes efficiently

Everyone connected to the Internet or other networks can have many reasons to define their IP address. In particular, defining an IP address can be useful if you:

- want to set up a local network or repair problems. In this case you would need to define an IP address for every computer connected to it.

- want to presume your privacy in the network. You need to hide your IP, but first you need to define it. This will enable you to check whether your method works and whether you have reached privacy in the network.

- want to receive data on the visitors of your web page or your clients. In this case everything is simple. You don’t need their passport details, it is enough just to find out their IP without revealing yours.

Today there are many possibilities to find out the IP address of your computer or laptop, get, e.g., my IP or find out an IP address of someone else.

On this page your can find out the IP address of your PC, laptop or a computer your are working on or looking for some useful information in the Internet at this very moment.

For your convenience the information you can find on this page has been divided in three main units.

In the first unit you can immediately find out your own IP address as well as the local IP, if your computer is connected to a local network. You can use this information for different purposes:

1. To check the new IP address after it has been changed.

2. If you already know your IP and have built a chain using a working proxy server or an anonymizer, then you can enter the URL of this page at the end of the chain and check whether you have managed to hide your IP and whether anyone will be able to define the IP of your device.

3. You can find out whether your IP is static or dynamic. To do that you will need to define your IP address, connect to the network again and define the IP address for the second time. If the IP has been changed, this means that it is dynamic.

The second unit shows the information about the country where the computer is located and where you self are at the moment. The information about proxy is also quite useful here. You will need IP proxy to set up a local network. With a proxy server you can allow or prohibit access to the Internet for certain users. Besides in some cases it is recommended to enter IP proxy in the browser, not its domain name. This allows to increase user’s privacy in the network.

The information in the third unit is mainly for reference purposes. Details of the browser, operating system installed on the computer as well as the language of the interface are represented here. This information can be useful for setting up a local network. The administrator gets accurate information about the OS, so he knows what specific commands for data-transmission control (according to IP protocol or TCP protocol) are to be used to set up a network correctly or to repair its problems.

Find out everything about your IP address! It will enable you to work safely in the network.
